Video game website Polygon asked Fireproof's Commercial Director Barry Meade to write an 'opinion piece' on our experience making games on mobile platforms and why we decided to sell our games at a fixed 'premium' price rather than following a free-to-play or in-app-purchase model.

Blimey it's quite scary when you add it all up!

Ahead of tomorrow's BAFTA Games Awards, at which we've been nominated for British Game and Mobile & Handheld, we thought we'd share up this infographic displaying some facts and figures about our experience with developing and selling The Room & The Room Two.

There might be some surprising facts in there, such at The Room was developed by only 4 people over 8 months, or that we got through an impressive amount of beer and biscuits while toiling away on The Room Two! For Excellence in Sound Design

We're very happy to be up for an award at this year's IMGA's held during GDC in San Franciso for 'Excellence in Sound Design'. You can read all about the awards and nominees by clicking here. 

We're chuffed to be returning to the IMGA's as last year our first game The Room won  'Excellence in Visuals' as well as the 'People's Choice Award', and those of us over for GDC enjoyed the ceremony very much! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for the 20th March!

The Room Two requires fairly a fairly powerful device with a decent amount of RAM in order to run. At the moment, we've enabled the game for all of the devices that we know it works on, and we're adding more all the time. If your device isn't supported, and you think it should be, please contact us through our help page right here and we'll see if we can enable it.

The Room Two has been nominated for 'British Game' and 'Mobile & Handheld' at the BAFTA Games Awards 2014!! Very exciting news indeed, and only 4 weeks until the awards ceremony in London...*gulp*
