Fireproof Games is a truly unique place to work.

As an established studio with significant commercial success, our independence means that we have total control over everything we do. From little things like which biscuits to buy, to the big stuff like what game to develop next, we have the freedom to explore, iterate and polish our ideas until they’re nice and shiny.

We’re small enough to feel like an indie studio, but with the stability and security of a much larger company. Over the many years we’ve worked together we’ve embraced a uniquely collaborative approach to game development which blurs the lines between art, code & design.

This gives everyone at Fireproof a voice in the way we work, the games we make and the tools & technologies we use.

Fireproof Games is located in central Guildford, a historic town often referred to as the ‘Hollywood of Videogames’ with over 40 videogame companies and a thriving developer community.

Our riverside studio is a modern, open space with a relaxed atmosphere and lots of the good stuff like free drinks & snacks, stand up desks, gaming area, reference library, pool table and really comfy chairs.

Many of us are veteran game developers with young families, so a healthy work/life balance is more important to us than ever. We have flexible working hours, we don’t work late, and most importantly, we don’t crunch.

At the moment we’re making something new, something that we’re not quite ready to talk about publicly yet, and we need to add some new skillsets to our team.

We’re not currently hiring right now, but we’re always interested in speaking to exceptional people. From the freshly graduated to the more experienced developer, whether you’re into programming, design or art, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you think you’ve got something we need to know about.
